Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a deep understanding of the German market. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base, forging strong relationships with industry leaders, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business consulting, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to think strategically to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various industries, focusing on companies looking to enter or expand in the German market.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert guidance on legal, tax, and business processes.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research to stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in Germany.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement effective business development strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our legal, tax, and business consulting teams to ensure a seamless service delivery for our clients.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to promote Erkiert & Mainka’s services and establish a strong presence in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the consulting or professional services industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the German market, including legal, tax, and business regulations.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).
